LMAC Check Donation to Cardinal Hill
The Lexington Model Airplane Club presents a check in the amount of $1000.00 to Cardinal Hill Hospital. From left to right are: Jenny Wurzbach (Director of public relations for Cardinal Hill), Trish Hatler (special events coordinator for Cardinal Hill), Ally Smith (out- patient at Cardinal Hill) and Curtis Adams (LMAC club member ). The Lexington Model Airplane Club host a Giant scale model airplane fly-in during the 3rd weekend of September every year. This event attracts pilots from several surrounding states as well as a good number of spectators. They always enjoy our show and are more than willing to make a donation to the club and this great cause. One of the main objectives of this event is to raise money for Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. This year we were able to give a donation in the amount of $1000.00 thanks to the generosity of the public, the pilots and our sponsors. We were pleased to have Ally Smith the daughter of Scott and Holly Smith help with the check presentation. Ally is a regular at Cardinal Hill and she was happy to help with the check presentation.
